The reflection of the setting sun off its cliffs causes the water to become as red as blood. The Seashocker uses this distraction to hunt unsuspecting Vikings.
Bloodspilt Bay is a cove surrounded by cliffs. When the sun sets, the water in the cove turns blood red.
As seen in Dragons: Titan Uprising, Bloodspilt Bay is a volcanic area with at least three small land masses within a sea. The islands are mostly barren and rocky, but have an occasional conifer tree covered with white ash. There is a small volcanic vent on the bay's West side. The area has a prolonged occupation by the forces of the Dragonroot Company, and later becomes even more darkened and covered in a red haze.
