My hunting weapon of choice. [src]
  Dagur the Deranged

Dagur's Crossbow is the weapon that Dagur the Deranged used in his dragon hunting training on Dragon Island, as he prepared himself for hunting and killing a Night Fury in Dragons: Defenders of Berk episode "The Night and the Fury".

History[]

Dragons: Defenders of Berk[]

In the episode: "The Night and the Fury", Dagur first drew his crossbow at his campsite when he heard sounds and pulled it out to defend himself and possibly Hiccup. Dagur later brought it with him as he brought Hiccup alone for his hunt for a Night Fury; Hiccup pushed it once so the young Berserker Chief wouldn't get the chance to kill a wild Monstrous Nightmare.

Dagur later used it to fight Hiccup, when he learned the truth about Berk's Dragon Riding and training; and the "Dragon attack" that he and his men faced on Berk was an act. He even tried to use it to kill Toothless, but failed.

Later in the episode: "A View to a Skrill, Part 1", Dagur had a crossbow while being on a Berserker ship looking for the Frozen Skrill. When Vorg informed him Hiccup and Toothless chasing the Skrill, Dagur (off-screen) put his crossbow on the side of ship.

Dragons: The Nine Realms[]

Season 6[]

In "Poison Control", after Buzzsaw sees the picture of Dagur in the Book of Dragons he sees that he's holding his crossbow.

Season 7[]

In "Hobs and Saw", Buzzsaw states that he took inspiration from Dagur's weaponry by showing the book with the page with Dagur and his crossbow and axe, in which he decides to make crossbows for Ford and Winston and create a huge crossbow ballista to reinforce his camp.

Games[]

School of Dragons[]

Dagur appears wielding his crossbow during the 'Dragon Tactics' activity. It has a 'poison' effect when used.
