The Hammerhead Whale was an animal seen in Legend of the BoneKnapper Dragon. It was seen continuously with the Hammerhead Yak. Although the Boneknapper was proved to be real, it is unknown whether the Hammerhead Whale in Gobber the Belch's story is real.

• It's currently unknown if Gobber actually met a real Hammerhead Whale or not.
• It is possible that the Hammerhead Whale and Yak are magical creatures created by Thor. Accourding to Gobber he did summon them, but there is no information to confirm or deny this theory.
