In this game, you can hatch your own dragon and interact with it once it hatches.

In this game you can hatch, train, and interact with your own dragon of choice. There are 6 eggs total to choose from, which are the eggs of the Deadly Nadder, Gronckle, Monstrous Nightmare, Hideous Zippleback, Night Fury, and Terrible Terror. Once an egg is chosen, you can interact with the egg by playing music with it, vibrate it, and heat it up with dragon fire. Each of these actions brings your egg closer to hatching. Once it's ready to come out, you can name the dragon (though you can only give it adjectives, such as Flaming Nightmare, Electric Zippleback, Mysterious Night Fury, Beautiful Nadder, etc.) and your newly hatched dragon will be ready for interactions, such as responding, firing, eating, and flying. Small text may appear each time the dragon is hatched telling you of your dragon's condition (such as saying "Your Mysterious Night Fury is hungry"), which you can fix by clicking on corresponding buttons. Once your dragon is taken care of, you will get the opportunity to hatch another dragon again.

  • Some of the egg facts are most likely false, for example, it says that Gronckle eggs are about the size of beans; however, in Gift of the Night Fury, the eggs where large enough to snuggle in one's boot.
  • Even though Toothless is the only known Night Fury, you can still hatch another Night Fury of your own.
  • Most, if not all, of the dragon animations are cropped out versions of ones seen in the movie, dragon training, and other media, such as the Zippleback's flame being copied from that one scene in the movie.
  • Strangely, this widget doesn't appear to exist anymore since 2013, as going to doesn't direct you to it.
