The Polar-Serpent[1] is a type of Dragon that lives in polar regions of the world. Ironically, the Polar-Serpent shoots incinerating balls of fire. The frosty dragon has a large horn it uses to impale its prey. They appear in How To Ride A Dragons Storm.

The Polar-Serpent is white with faint grey markings and is about the size of a panther. Like seals, they like basking on icebergs, but their beauty hides a cruel streak. They sit upon these icebergs like statues scanning the area for prey and, when one spots prey, they all dive in for a bite. They windsurf across the ice on their bellies and can reach extraordinary speeds doing so. They eat polar bears, seals, penguins ,fish, and even people. To catch their prey, they saw holes in the ice and wait for their surprised prey to fall into their open jaws below. They are usually semi-solitary, living in loose groups, but hunt in packs. Their lair is in cliffs or on little iceberg structures by the ocean, though they usually nest in snow drifts.
