The Burrowing Salamance is a boulder class dragon. It was hard to classify this dragon but was classified as a boulder class dragon because it prefers to eat rock and metal. The Burrowing Salamance was difficult to classify because the vikings could not decide wheather it should be with the tidal class dragons because of its gills that allow it to breathe under water or the boulder class dragons. They had considered classifying it into the mystery class dragons but classified it into boulder class because of its habit to attack villages for their metal.

The Burrowing Salamance is an aggressive dragon with mole like claws and spikes on its tail. The Burrowing Salamance comes in Black and Blue, Black and Red, Black and Brown, and Jet Black. The spikes on its tail resemble those of a Deadly Nadders and has a tounge made of metal that is shaped like a drill that disconnects and grows back afterwards. It will often use its tounge along with its rotating teeth to dig. It has gills on its neck allowing it to live above or below water. It is about the size of a Deadly Nadder.

BehaviorEdit

The Burrowing Salamance is very proud but when taunted it pounces like a cat. Burrowing Salamances kill for sport but rarely kill anything larger than a yak. The Burrowing Salamance isnt afraid of anything but when it feels the slightest fear it will challenge whatever it is afraid of even another dragon. If it wins it will eighther eat it or leave it to rot. The only known fears of Burrowing Salamances are Red Deaths, losing in a fight, and Night Furys. It has a waek fire blast so for a weapon it uses its fire blast to launch its detachable toung at its opponent. It prefers to live in the ground but some do live under the sea floor. It is rare to see a Red and Black male Burrowing Salamance but if you see one run! because they tend to be more aggressive tha normal.
